So you think Wordpress is ok?

Wordpress is ok as a blogging tool.

However, in Activities 1 & 2 you are supposed to create your genuine web page. This essentially involves two things:

  1. Writing your HTML and CSS - which most of you did very well.
  2. Uploading the HTML file to the web server so that to make it available to the public.

Notice that your activity 1 & 2 specify quite clearly: Upload your HTML file to a web server of your choice. Creating a blog post is by no means uploading an HTML file.

For web development, posting to wordpress is completely irrelevant. For example, it is virtually impossible to accomplish Activity 2 with a wordpress post. If you accidentally can do it, I mean you can fully customize your wordpress with your genuine css stylesheet, I will be more than happy to withdraw your marks so far and award you with full credits. However, I bet you can't.

As for a prospective web developer, uploading HTML or CSS files to a web server is an essential requirement for you.
